| Open Joint Stock Company Commercial Bank Center-invest (Rostov-on-Don) declared about its intention to grant loans for the companies which are expand with the construction of the Olympic objects in Sochi, where the bank is going to expand the branch network in the resort city and to draw loans from the internal and external markets in the amount of USD100-300m. The market analysts and participants consider that it will take the bank about 1,5-2 years to enlarge the customer base significantly, after the regional companies, i.e. the traditional clients of the bank, will enter the number of the participants of the Olympic project besides the huge federal companies. |

| The Austrian Erste Bank has signed the agreement to purchase 9,8% of the shares of the Rostov Center-invest Bank and will introduce its representative to the Board of Directors, as Erste Bank informed. Dmitry Gorchakov, the head of the Public Relations department of Center-invest Bank, proved the fact that the agreement had been signed but refused to give any other comments till the end of the deal. |

The credit line is launched with the maturity of five years, it was stated by Dmitry Gorchakov, the chief of the PR service. The parties do not disclose the terms of loan. |

| EBRD - new shareholder of Center-invest In June 2004 European Bank for Reconstruction and Development extended its partnership with Center-invest by acquiring 25% of the voting shares for $8.15 million and approving a 5 year $5 million loan targeted to SMEs. That moving reinforces cooperation between the two institutions initiated in 2002 when EBRD launched its TFP program and granted a $5 million loan, which was extended to $8 million in 2003. |
